On September 25th the President of the VSA Dr. Jeffery Green, FASA visited Winchester Anesthesiologists Inc. for a dinner meeting.
WAI is based in Winchester and covers anesthesia throughout the northern Shenandoah Valley. Technically, WAI is a part of the Northern Virginia Region. Unfortunately, their location precludes attendance to most events held in that region.

The Democrats took the majority in both the Senate and House of Delegates and now control both the legislative and executive branches for the first time in 23 years.
In the House of Delegates, the Democrats picked up six seats, so it is now 55 Democrats and 45 Republicans. In the Senate, the composition is now 21 Democrats and 19 Republicans.
